Cleaver’s Skin Serum Herbal Infused Oil
11⁄2 cups of fresh chickweed
1 cup fresh calendula petals
1/4 cup of fresh nettle and horsetail each
3 cups of a carrier oil (olive oil or sweet almond oil)
Begin by washing the fresh chickweed, calendula petals, nettle, and horsetail thoroughly. Pat them dry. Please herbs and oil in a blender and blend very well. Place this oil (herbs and all) in a clean, dry mason jar. . Close the mason jar, shaking it lightly to mix. Place the jar in a warm, sunny spot for about 2- 4 weeks to allow the therapeutic properties of the herbs to infuse into the oil. After the infusion process, strain the herbs from the oil using a cheesecloth, ensuring to squeeze as much oil out of the herbs as possible. Discard the herbs or compost them.
Herbal Cream
1 cup of freshly prepared herbal-infused oil
1/4 cup of beeswax pellets
1/2 cup of Shea butter or cocoa butter
10-15 drops of rosemary essential oil (for natural preservation)
